Luohu hosts AI education exchange and application launch event

On April 15, Luohu held the “Luohu District Artificial Intelligence Education Ecosystem Industry Exchange Conference and 'Education + AI' Scenario Application Launch Event,” aimed at advancing AI education in line with the national “Education Informatization 2.0 Action Plan.” This event marked a significant step in transitioning AI education from experimental classrooms to widespread application in schools across the region.
The event, held in both online and offline formats, attracted over 300 participants. Among them were district leaders, representatives from educational technology companies, industry associations, principals from primary and secondary schools, as well as representatives from the education systems of partnering counties such as Lufeng, Huaiji, and Chao’an. More than 80 representatives from enterprises also participated.
A key highlight of the event was the official release of the “Luohu District Three-Year Action Plan for Advancing AI Education Applications in Primary and Secondary Schools.” The plan outlines a comprehensive roadmap for the next three years, focusing on the integration of AI into educational settings and the establishment of a dedicated corpus center. This plan is structured around four major actions and six key projects aimed at advancing AI education across the district.
The implementation of the plan will take place over three distinct phases. In 2025, the focus will be on building the necessary infrastructure and conducting pilot explorations in AI education. The following year, 2026, will see efforts to expand AI applications and deepen the integration of AI tools in educational environments. By 2027, the plan aims to complete system enhancements and deliver measurable results.
